We are thrilled to highlight the meaningful partnership between School of the Nations and Escola de Santa Madalena where students came together to explore language, creativity and cultural exchange.
From a lively dice‑rolling icebreaker to Miss Mary’s expressive read‑aloud, the day was filled with storytelling, imagination, and shared learning. Students discovered the difference between graphic novels and comic books, explored literary conventions like onomatopoeia and Ben Day Dots and even designed their own colourful sound words.
A heartfelt thank you to Principal Vivek, Miss Vanessa and Mr Tony for their dedication and support in making this collaboration possible. And of course, to Miss Mary for inspiring our learners and to all the students for their enthusiasm and participation.
Together, we are building confident readers, imaginative storytellers and lasting cultural connections. We look forward to having more opportunities for collaboration that enrich academic experiences and strengthen bonds across schools.
